I’m the founder and President of Engenuus Energy LLC, a boutique energy consulting and brokerage service that focuses on efficient placement of renewable and conventional energy into the wholesale/retail markets, advising businesses on energy sector matters, interfacing and enabling wholesale distribution interconnection onto the grid, managing renewable energy placement, and providing load response solutions.

During the past 30+ years I’ve been involved virtually every business sector evolutionary phase from demand side management to open access to the ever increasing need for renewable energy programs.

Prior to participating in this endeavor, I was Vice President of Business for Constellation NewEnergy, Major Markets, Western North America and Mexico.

Prior to joining Constellation NewEnergy, I worked for Sempra Energy for 13 years, holding position of increasing responsibility throughout my career, including energy systems engineer, manager of power group, director of project development, and director of commodity sales origination.

In addition to commercial activity, I was a member delegate of Governor Schwarzenegger’s 2006 Trade Mission to Mexico, participated in numerous industry speaking forums, and worked closely with economic development teams in CA.

I’ve been involved in over $2 billion in energy related programs involving: combined heat and power, renewable energy, sustainable design, energy conservation retrofits and program development, natural gas and electricity risk management, and commodity procurement.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, and I’m a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, an active participant in United Way, and an avid fencer.
